Matisse

Chinchilla Golden

The artist himself - he is a true ‘hugger’ cat.  Once you’ve been hugged by this pudding, you’ll know it.  We can walk across the house, and he holds on with two fuzzy (but strong!) paws around our necks...  awwwww.  It’s just a very special thing to be hugged with that tenacity by a gorgeous Persian - cat or no.  We love this angel; he’s a breath of fresh air for a tired soul, and he always tells the truth.

Maurice

Chinchilla Silver

Morrie is our youngest stud, but proven now with a one-kitten litter.  Hooray!  Really though, we expect distinguished things from this charmer.  He’s old school - dead poets’ style, you know?  He’s a perfect gentleman and on Tuesdays will make you cucumber sandwiches with hot milky tea for picnics and I’m quite certain he was born knowing how to tie a dickie-bow.  Very well-spoken and confident, he might make us feel quite clumsy, but instead his gracious manners only shower us in love.  We’d call him 007, but that would just be crass.

Sinbad

Bicolour Black & White

Peg-legged pirate?  Perhaps not, but he is a swashbuckling cap’n of the far seas.  He’s a lover, not a fighter, and although he wears a mysterious mask he is very forthcoming with his feelings for his beloved crew (Matisse in particular).  Aye - you’ll quake in yer boots ‘cause once you’ve been boarded by this fluffy fella you’ll find time ashore a wee drab.  Very attentive and he always spares time for a cuddle and a lick on the cheek.  Sinbad is fuzzy treasure personified...  or should we say catified?

Frankie ‘Ol Blue Eyes

Chocolate Point Himalayan

Frankie is an original big ol’ daddy; his lineage is widespread and fame - everlasting.  He was named for the crooner and does not fail to live up to it; he is a true romantic in all senses.  We wish him well in his gracious new home as he was widely travelled and deserves to be in loving arms now with his own personal fans.  We miss him and his son will follow in his footsteps, though with Frankie they’re big shoes to fill.  Sing on, darling boy.

* Please note this list includes cats who were with us but are in family homes now.  We respect their beauty and service and now it is our hope they are as happy as they made us.

Josey

Seal Point Himalayan

Josey.  Ahhhh Josey.  He’s a seal-point, like our Austin, who chokes us up still to talk about.  The reason we started our cattery - we will always hold true to him.  We were so lucky with that angel, and it seems we are blessed with another.  This guy is obviously our outlaw Josey Wales:  he’s taken off for the high plains with our hearts and souls in spite of humble beginnings and provincial people.  Josey-Jo, Jodle, Jaybird, Jobie, Joey, Jobo, Joebe-Bo, Jojo.  The list goes on and gets really babyish.  We love him so much.  He’s a paragon, our patient prince personified (well - catified), and we are looking for a extra-special home for this beastie.
